Autoclave Cleaning and Inspection:
When was the last time you looked inside your autoclave?
Build-up in the chamber can result in premature failure of valves and components in your sterilizer, as well as, cause damage to your delicate surgical instruments.
While cleaning we will inspect the autoclave's valves, filters, gaskets, and electronic components to insure reliable service.
Any potential component failures will be brought to your attention for your evaluation.
This scheduled cleaning and inspection will prolong the dependable life of your autoclave.
Trace Gas Testing:
Each operating room containing an anesthesia machine using N2O should receive a trace gas test inspection semi-annually.
All testing is done in compliance with the NFPA procedure and all results are checked against the NFPA specifications and prior test results. Deficiencies serious enough to warrant the inspector to believe the system should be taken out of service will be reported to the appropriate person immediately. All deficiencies that do not require the machine to be taken out of service will be noted in a summary report and advice will be given on how to correct the deficiencies. Atlantic Biomedical keeps detailed copied of all test results for the duration of the contract these records are available upon request.
